Jam Eight – Godot edition. Short on blood – don’t lose it all!


DEV COMMENTARY

This is the first game I EVER finished in the Godot game engine

I loved the experience, GDScript isn’t really looking good for any at least middle-scaled projects as it’s hard to refactor. Plus Rider IDE doesn’t work well with it, too

Perhaps, using C# would feel better but I’d better return to using Unity

    I love reading about developers experiences! Its inspiring to see how they overcome challenges, like the switch from Godot to Unity. Great job on the game, and the tips about development processes are super helpful!
