I finished some things I had to do that are not related to neither an actual game development nor to programming. I am happy I did as now I can continue to work on my skills in preparation for the next game jam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I truly love the idea of the clean code. It fascinates me how simple it becomes to develop a program when you follow some actual design. I always tried to come up with designs. But I always overlooked that there are already existing ones! It’s like reinventing wheel over, and over, and over again.. And, to be honest, I think I am smart but not smarter that lots of really smarty people all over the history of programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, here I am, learning well-known established design patterns, The Gang of Four didn’t take a chance on being wastie with those words. Today I learned about Factory method. Actually, I already heard of that. But didn’t try to hear more. Quite interesting. Implemented it in some form in Unity, doesn’t know where to use it yet. Guess, will have more research on it tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I hope, I am here for long enough to do lots of beautiful things, make people I love as happy as I only can, be myself no matter what. And yet, the idea from before makes me value my time on Earth more. As life<\/em>, if you think about it, is indeed short.<\/em> I yet have lots of time there, waiting for me to see it. But it’s in terms of being young. And yet, I am not guaranteed to actually live to see it all. It’s sad but true, the young can die too. Just like that, you are alive one day, having fun with your stuff, and then puff<\/em> — some bad scenarios happen and suddenly you are not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
